Skrædder i Helvede indeholder 89 billeder lavet af 89 illustratorer 

og 91 tekster skrevet af 42 forfattere.

Antologien er blevet til i et tæt samarbejde mellem Dansklærerforeningens Forlag, illustratorgruppen i Dansk Forfatterforening og Forfatterskolen for Børnelitteratur.

Toril Bækmark from Denmark, contacted us via our suggestions drop box and asked us to review her work, so that’s exactly what we did.

I must say we were pleasantly surprised by her irresistible energetic style, hand drawn lettering & mixed media. The way she brings all of these element together onto one page is fascinating. To date she has worked for many large brands including Coca-Cola, Bon Appetit (US), ELLE (DK), Magasin du Nord and Hultquist-Copenhagen. Also her work has been lovingly published in Three by three illustration, Illusive2 & Illusive3, Hair’em Scare’em and Freistil Black.

Fixing off the wall

The creator of Michael Jackson’s image for the cover of his first hugely successful solo album, Off the Wall

Mike Salisbury is telling the story, and how he wanted to redesign the lettering on the wall.

"I discovered  Toril Bækmark, a  Danish illustrator. She created new lettering for me and, as a place holder, created this wonderful drawing of Michael, in that same pose he made for me for Off the Wall.
